Janice Joseph

Candidate for Library Trustee

Janice Joseph brings decades of healthcare leadership and a lifelong passion for learning to her candidacy for Library Trustee. A Middlebury resident since 2019, she holds degrees from the University of Kentucky, University of New Hampshire, and Rensselaer, along with certification from Boston University. Janice served in top administrative roles in the Veterans Affairs Medical Centers for nearly 30 years, ultimately as Chief of Nursing Service in Newington, CT. She has also worked in clinical and consulting roles in nursing and wound care.

As a frequent library user throughout her life, Janice values libraries as vital community centers for knowledge, culture, and connection. She is eager to bring her strong administrative background and advocacy skills to support Middlebury’s library and its growing needs. Janice looks forward to serving the community by ensuring the library remains a thriving resource for residents of all ages.
