Janice Paul

Candidate for Library Trustee

Janice Paul has been a proud Middlebury resident for over 50 years and is eager to give back to the community by serving as a Library Trustee. A UConn graduate with a BA in history, Janice has pursued lifelong learning through OLLI courses, cultural engagement, reading, and travel. Her professional background is diverse, including co-ownership of Artworks Gallery in New Haven, For Art’s Sake, and Faux Belles, a custom painting and design business. She has also served on the Board of Waterbury Youth Services, supporting programs for underprivileged youth.

As an avid reader and active participant in library programs, Janice believes libraries are among a town’s most important assets. She values the library as a space to read, learn, and connect through cultural events and activities. If elected, Janice is committed to expanding opportunities for both adults and children and ensuring that Middlebury’s library continues to enrich the community for years to come.
